• All of the potatoes we buy are local - and we buy around 228 tonnes of potatoes a year - that's the weight of 2 and a half blue whales to me and you!!
• Around two thirds of all the fruit and veg we buy is from a local supplier
• Over three quarters of the meat we buy is from local farms in the region
• We serve around 378,000 jacket potatoes each year...which if all piled up together would weigh as much as 8 African Elephants!!
• Across all the schools we make school dinners at, we use around 21.9 tonnes of carrots  - that's the weight of 1,217 children!!
• By buying our fruit, vegetables and meat locally, we are helping to save the planet as we are reducing our food miles and carbon footprint
